The designer: Lilia N

Lilia was born in Perm, Russia in 1978 - a city near the Ural Mountains, with spectacular landscapes and amazing wildlife. As a child, Lilia was always interested in anything creative, whether it was making clothes for dollies, making bead rings for her friends or collecting pretty buttons. She enjoyed rummaging through her mother's jewellery box, looking at all the necklaces and different types of stones.

Lilia met her husband whilst studying for her degree in the UK, and moved here permanently in 1999. She now lives on the edge of the Cotswolds, in north Wiltshire, and has two daughters.

Lilia is a self-taught jewellery designer. At first it was just a fun past time, however more and more people expressed an interest in her designs and enquired as to whether she could make something for them. This was the birth of Lilia N. Designs! Lilia is constantly researching new techniques and trends in jewellery design and fashion, to ensure her designs remain unique and stylish for you to wear!

The jewellery:

Each piece of jewellery has been carefully hand-crafted without the use of machinery. Lilia does not sell any jewellery that has not been made by her own hands, with many pieces being totally unique and not repeated. Limited edition pieces are limited to a line of between 2-20 pieces only. Lilia selects all of her gemstones personally, paying particular attention to quality and uniqueness. All precious metals used are 18 karat gold or Sterling silver. So, whatever your mood or occasion, you're sure to find the perfect piece in her collection!
